South London – Victorian Flat Remodeling
Our Client has a bold style and it was important this was represented in her kitchen design. The floor and wall tiles wer already decided when we were brought into the project and the colours were chosen to contrast and compliment these.
Space is at an absolute premium in this central London flat, so it was important we made the most of the room. To do this we changed the L shape kitchen into a U shape to create more worksurface and storage, and add the all important dishwasher.
A modern, thin frame shaker allows some interest in the door design, without being too fussy. To streamline the existing appliances within the kitchen we painted the fridge door the same colour as the kitchen cabinets.
I am so completely thrilled with my new kitchen! From the very very beginning, Mioko has been precise, clear, organised and inventive – really taking in my needs as well as coming up with great new ideas. My kitchen is a small awkward space and needed a lot creativity in how to fit all the appliances I wanted whilst retaining my bold personal style. Even before work began, I was blown away by Mioko’s design. It was so thorough and beautiful – she really talked through every single aspect and explained everything so clearly. The fitting was smooth as anything. Any hitch was resolved and I trusted her and her team implicitly. All that’s left is the inevitable snagging at the end of the project but I am so thrilled with the outcome. I will be recommending Kitchen Bee Designs forever!
