Kitchen Bee Design is an independent studio: we design a kitchen, supply it, and install it with our own team. That full service suits a certain kind of project, and a certain kind of budget.
UGUISU is for the projects it doesn’t suit. It is a supply-only line – a selected range of modular units in a curated set of doors and colours, made to order in Italy and delivered ready to install. You handle the fitting, or your contractor does. We handle the design, the specification and the technical detail behind it.
Same studio. Same supplier. Same eye on the drawing. A different way of buying it.
UGUISU is fully assembled, made-to-order cabinets from an Italian manufacturer we have specified for years – delivered to your site and fitted by your own team.
What is in every UGUISU kitchen
Every unit arrives with doors and drawers already fitted. There is no self-assembly on site – your fitters hang the units and go.
All UGUISU cabinets are produced by Armony Cucine, the Italian manufacturer established in 1976 that we also specify for Kitchen Bee projects.
All doors are 22mm thick, giving extra stability and a more substantial feel than a standard door.
Blum TANDEMBOX Antaro full-extension runners with BLUMOTION soft-close, rated to 30-50kg and tested to 100,000 opening and closing cycles. Hinges are soft-close, nickel-coated steel, with three-way adjustment and a 200,000-cycle rating.
Base units are taller than standard, so you get more usable storage in the same footprint.
40mm behind base and tall units, 20mm behind wall units, so cables, pipes and ducts can be run on site without cutting into the carcass.
Who UGUISU is for
You may already have a contractor on site for an extension or a refurbishment, and a team perfectly capable of fitting a kitchen. If you want a properly designed, Italian-made kitchen without paying for a managed installation you don’t need, UGUISU gives you the cabinets and the drawings – and leaves the fitting to the team you already trust.
The UGUISU module range is arranged so that you can design with it directly. You get the module dimensions, the carcass and fixture specifications, and full technical support from our team while you draw – then a made-to-order kitchen that arrives fully assembled and square, ready for your fitters.

An Edwardian terraced family home in West Ealing, opened up at the rear into a single, light-filled kitchen and dining room. A structural column – painted a deliberate yellow – anchors the plan, while paired archways and a roof lantern carry daylight deep into the floor. The architect was Brown Urbanism; the side-return extension was built by the client’s own contractors.
UGUISU supplied the full cabinet system: a run of handleless oak-effect melamine base units, a quartz-topped island, and matt-lacquer tall storage framing the dining recess. Every carcass was engineered to install square against the existing brick shell.
What a UGUISU kitchen costs
We publish real numbers rather than a “from” figure with nothing behind it.
The kitchen above – a full cabinet system for a family kitchen and dining room – was £14,360 ex VAT for the cabinets. With a quartz worktop, appliances, sink, tap and delivery all supplied by others, the whole kitchen came to £22,860 ex VAT (£27,432 inc VAT).
Your figure will move with the size of the room, the finishes and how much of the rest you buy elsewhere. We quote from your plans, itemised, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Finish samples are £22 each, so you can see and feel a door before you commit.

No – UGUISU is supply only. The cabinets are designed for installation by your contractor or your own team, and we give them full technical support. If you would like us to design, supply and fit the whole kitchen, that is the Kitchen Bee service.
