Chiswick – Victorian House Extension
Brief
For a growing family with four children, our client decided to extend their ground floor kitchen with an open plan design. This layout worked entirely for all their needs. The large 3 metre island is a focal point for the family where they can cook, relax and study. The island also contains a dog bed area. The kitchen provides a maximum storage and an easy access solution with many drawers together – LeMans and a swing-out pantry mechanism. In order to achieve the eclectic, vintage inspirations for their Victorian house that the client sought, the kitchen combines shaker style doors in Farrow & Ball ‘Black Blue’ and handless liquid metal doors in a distressed brass finish, together with a vintage mirror splashback.
